Our Mission Statement:

“The Tabor Youth Development Center is dedicated to serve our city’s (Philadelphia’s) diverse population through programming intended to foster education and inspire civic leadership in a safe and structured environment.”


The Tabor Youth Development Center (TYDC) grew out of several successful programs at Tabor Lutheran Church in the Feltonville neighborhood of Philadelphia. The center’s goal is to serve at-risk-youths with high quality after-school care, summer camps and life skill programs for teen.
